I’m a software developer. I started out on Microsoft stuff – Access 2.0 in fact. How embarassing. Then I moved on to C#, SQL Server, ASP.NET and MVC. Phew! That’s better. My current job has included Java and Oracle and pushed me into spreading things into the non-Microsoft world. I’ve touched on MySQL, PHP, WebLogic, various Apache web servers.
When I get home the geekiness continues. I don’t do that much desktop coding for fun, but have been playing around with microcontrollers and electronics.
It’s not all geek, geek, geek. Sports wise I kitesurf and cycle when I can. I used to race motorbikes and even taught Wing Tsun kung fu for a while. You probably won’t see much of that here though. I enjoy it but I know nobody else is fascinated by my limited sporting abilities.
That’ll do. I doubt anyone will read this anyway!
Just read through all your posts after finding a link to one of your projects on 43oh. You’ve done some very interesting work (and I love this shed – someday I hope to have the same). Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your comments. It’s nice to know when I’m posting random waffle on here that someone is reading it and enjoying it.
